Almost every year since we started going on trips, most of my birthday was spent overseas. However since we planned to go to Taiwan in December to enjoy some winter weather, I can only spend my birthday in Singapore. Feng decided to make it special by telling me that he’s planning either a short overseas trip or a staycation. And so I waited. (*´∀`)ノ~.☆.。.:*・°

Every few days nearer to my birthday, Feng will give me a hint to where the place is. Sadly I am an expert in digging information so I resisted in using good old Professor Google. Haha! Eventually the place was located but I still didn’t find out more about it so as to give myself a better surprise when I reach there. And yes, it ended up with a staycation and it was at Oasia Hotel Singapore~! ♪  ヾ(´︶`☆)ノ ♬

And so we made our way down by cab and head over to the reception to get them to leave our luggage in the baggage holding area since we were going out for my yummy birthday lunch at Aoki. After some checking at the reception, the lady told us that we can check-in now and boy were we happy to be able to check-in early! Wheeeee~! And so we were brought up to the Living Room at level 22 to continue with our check-in since Feng opt for an upgrade to a Club Suite for us. Yay! ✿“ヽ(´︶`*)ノ”✿

I felt like I was at a resort when the lovely doorman/porter brought us up to level 22 and was really friendly to interact with us, what I seldom experience in local hotels that we have stayed before. He was even interacting with another lady while we were in the lift, who seems to be a regular with Oasia Hotel and was also familiar with the doorman/porter. Nice touch to the service here. (´ㅂ`)

After some admin procedures at the check-in reception at level 22, we were being brought up to our rooms. I wouldn’t be touching a lot of details but you can check out Feng’s blog entry on Oasia Hotel for more information. (´∀`*)

I was truely wow-ed by how beautiful the suite was when I first entered it. And what I was seeing was only the living area of the suite. When the service staff who brought us up brought us around the suite and opened the door to our bedroom, I was IN AWE! I can really stay there for a long time. Haha! It was beautiful beyond words and how I wish it was our house. Haha! (☆▽★) And for that reason, I will only be showing photos of the bedroom nearing the end of this entry. Hahahaha! I AM EVIL!

Here’s the main controller for the whole suite. They have so many fun electronic controller in here that it was so fun to play around with them! Haha! Controller to control the lighting in the room and the curtains, day or night, for the suite.

Here’s presenting to you the living area of the suite~! We hardly hang out here ‘cos we have another TV in the bedroom. Hehe. I super super super ♥ the almost full length window!!! So much light into the room and not forgetting the lovely wood color of the room is so much ♥~!

Here’s a view from the windows of the living area. Yes, that’s Tan Tock Seng Hospital. And the two blocks of condominium facing the hotel. The proximity is pretty near that we can spot some activities in those block so those staying in Oasia Hotel should remember not to expose too much of yourself! Hehe.

Some food and drinks we have at the mini bar counter. Seems like Nespresso is a norm nowadays in hotel rooms? ♡(∩╰╯˘灬)

Time to open the door leading to the bedroom! BUT before that, let’s explore the bathroom. (´▽`♡) ホッ♪ A bathroom with a mix of modern with some Japanese feel to it. Truely love the whole design.

Ah. My favourite kind of toilet bowl!!! Haha! Had it too much in Japan and I kind of miss it in Singapore. Cold rooms with warm toilet seat is SUPERBLY COMFY. Hehe. (`∀´)ヤーイ

And here’s some bathroom amenities from THANN.

I honestly feel like taking that tissue box home. Will fit so well with our house. Hehe.

Not forgetting the wardrobe with nice fitting bathrobes! Not easy to find nice fitting bathrobes for myself in hotel rooms considering most are more suitable for foreigners NOT my size.

So into the bedroom we go~! \(*▽*)/≈★

They even have stationery on the work table! Not just a single pen but many more other items include in this lovely stationery box.

OMAKASE TIME! How can we forget the special guests for all our trips~! (ゝω・´★)

We truely enjoyed the whole staycation with Oasia Hotel. Everything was perfect except for one, the service standards between staff seemed to be inconsistent. As previously mentioned, the doorman/porter was really natural with guests, taking the initiative to talk to guests whenever he sees one while there are some that are just trying a bit harder to communicate better with the guests. Am not saying their service standard is not good but probably will be better to ensure that all the staff are portraying the same standard of service to the guests. Well, Oasia Hotel has already exceeded my expectations so with time I am sure they will do even better if they continue training their staff to be even better. I wouldn’t hesitate to give Oasia Hotel another visit in future, just to check out the Club Room though the Suite is always welcomed if Feng pays for it. Oops. Haha!

Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone today~! (ت)♪
