It has probably been a long time since I wrote in a first-person tone. It has also became a norm for me to write in Chinese after my Taiwan trip. The use of English language to blog is just getting raw and I feel that every sentence that I wrote just seem to sound wrong in one way or another.

That being said, I decided to blog as ME today. 🙂

Having went through our solemnization in June and almost confirming most of what we need to confirm for our wedding next year, we basically are just sitting back and relaxing right now.

Then came my brother-in-law’s wedding which was held one week ago. I helped out with some wedding preparations and even went with Feng for the gatecrashing session early in the morning. Imagine having to wake up at 5AM in the morning to prepare to go out! It was as if it was my own wedding. Then there was some hiccups here and there, not to say I was somehow a bit unhappy by how messy some situations were and leading to Feng having to help out with every single detail just ‘cos his the brother. But putting those unhappiness aside, both of us did learn quite some during the whole wedding help-out. With this experience, we hoped that we can reduce the number of hiccups that will happen on our wedding day! 🙂

That being said, I have started researching again. After putting aside the research of my ideal wedding gown, I have went back to looking for Professor Google for more ideas. One honest opinion. Our local wedding magazines sucks big time. It’s full of advertisements and less of wedding ideas. Probably what they presented are just so not what we want. What a waste of money. Not forgetting having to lug home the magazines since wedding magazines are just freaking heavy!

So anyway back to the wedding research. I have been surfing wedding blogs set up by really brilliant ladies who set up the website and post photos of real weddings. Besides that, they also have inspiration boards which will contain a color theme or just a table set-up of sorts. The wedding blogs are just wonderful! It was from there that I have gathered lots of ideas that we probably can use for our local casual photoshoot and our overseas photoshoot. Not forgetting some ideas for our wedding day! We are so gonna try to make our wedding a more westernized style rather than the usual local style we seen in most weddings.

Of ‘cos I wouldn’t be posting any of the ideas here as yet just so I know someone who might be attending my wedding next year is reading this blog. You know who you are. 🙂

I can’t wait for our discussion and brainstorming to start, hopefully this weekend! 😀

Anyway here is a list of some of my favourite wedding blogs:
